Okay, I, CTH2004, have finally written the description, after being reminded by verruxlunox
So, here's the Description v2 (version 3 coming eventually!)


Rimworld Extended: Properly


This mod has the deceptivly "semi-simple" goal of Extending Rimworld and other Rimworld Mods, how I think it should be done!

So, what does that entail? Glad you asked
  1. New Genes
  2. Soft Compatibility with many a mod
  3. more (takeing any and all suggestions!)


Oh, you want more? well, okay, fine. I'll give you a summary, that's all!
  • There are the Bio-Stabilizer genes, which weaken all stats by "x", except for 1. That other stat is increased, but capped at 100. That way, it takes a lot more to drop it to bellow 100! So, you wanted a functional colonist with a very damaged brain? No? well, now you can!
  • There are some genes manipulateing the psyfocus costs with Vanilla Psycasts Expanded
  • If you have Endling: Last of their Kind, a gene that adds that. Now you can have kids inherit haveing no liveing family!
  • If you have Reinforced Mechanoids 2, you will, once I can get it to work, have a scenario based around the Gestalt Engine
  • Pierceing Spine has an increased range
  • Genes for manipulateing the ratio of pawns genders, courtesy of Tuuree
  • Soft Compatibility with A rimworld of Magic and Kure's Classes
  • that's all (For now)...

Now, I must admit, some of the content is not 100% my ownsome of the content is not 100% my own, so, credit where credit is due:
  1. Bleeding Eyes for RoM Genes. It's ported in almost one-for-one
  2. Touch-nir for All Rimworld of Magic Class Genes, which I used as a basis for my class genes (although mine are soft requriments)
  3. A RimWorld of Magic, which I am directly use the textures of for the genes mentioned in items 1 and 2, so I don't need to include those textures too
  4. Get Donked On for VPE Psycastfocus cost genes Which, with his permission, has been integrated here

NOTE: THE ICONS IN THIS MOD ARE PLACEHOLDERS, UNTILL I CAN FIGURE OUT HOW TO MAKE "GOOD" ICONS, AND HAVE TIME (and the desire) TO DO THAT

Issue with the Kure's genes - all of kure's traits (for some reason) are defined with a degree of 4 instead of 0. The genes need to add the traits at degree 4. E.g.

<forcedTraits>
<li>
<def>TM_ElementalGunner</def>
</li>
</forcedTraits>

Should be

<forcedTraits>
<li>
<def>TM_ElementalGunner</def>
<degree>4</degree>
</li>
</forcedTraits>

Rimworld error handling figures it out but it throws an error every time stats are fetched, which produces a massive amount of lag

So if I want to use this mod only for gender ratio genes, would it work fine?

It asks me to subscribe to a ton of mods, I wonder if it's essential

@CTH2004 that is cool. I had a feeling that it might be something involving reinforced mechanoids 2. Definitely one that I want to add to my list.

because I'm working on adding in a scenario for the Gestalt Engine, but I'm useing reinforced mechanoids 2.

as that's redundant contant, and possibly redundant id's, I marked it as incompatible.
Technically you can use them together, but basicly it's not intended to
