描述
This is a standalone version of the shader merge files that are included in the Merger of Rules, for those who don't want or can't use it.
Can be safely used with UGRP.



Shaders

This file merges the shader changes made by these mods:
- Ancient Cache of Technologies
- Acquisition of Technologies (ACOT submod)
- Gigastructural Engineering & More
- Real Space

You don't need to have all of these to use this merger, but you do need it if you have at least two of them that don't share their shaders (see below).

Shared shaders:
- ACOT and AOT.
- Gigastructural Engineering & More and Real Space.

Put this mod at the bottom of your mod list.

Note: I won't support any mod here that hasn't updated his shader files to the 3.10+ format.



Planetary bombardment visuals

This mod also merges the planetary bombardment visual effects of the following mods:
- Ancient Cache of Technologies
- Ancient Empire
- Acquisition of Technologies (ACOT submod)
- Expanded Traits, Civics, Pops, and More
- Gigastructural Engineering & More
- Girls Frontline
- Halo: Forerunner Ships & Portraits
- Origin Beings
- Return of Ragnarok

Yeah thats fair. The updated ACOT shader files are on the ACOT discord in the announcments channel however. I dont know if your waiting for the actual mod to update or just the shader file because the ACOT shaders are already updated just via that method.

Which is pretty normal since the shaders have changed in 4.2 and I have to wait for ACOT to update accordingly so I can merge their changes with Gigas and Real Space.

also by the way the game will crash if you enter any system with a molten world with this mod enabled. Just worth metioning to help debug it.

ACOT has an updated pdxmesh file on the discord, the one in this mod will crash the game. They still need to be merged obv.

One mod's shaders will overwrite the other's, resulting in invisible elements or crashes.

Maybe I'm just dumb but what does the shader merge actually do? Like what happens if you don't have it and still run acot and giga together?
