One mod's shaders will overwrite the other's, resulting in invisible elements or crashes.

Maybe I'm just dumb but what does the shader merge actually do? Like what happens if you don't have it and still run acot and giga together?

Hello, Gigas alreay includes Real Space's shaders. You'll need this mod is you're using ACOT with Real Space and/or Gigas.

Yeah, they're working hard on it. I don't recommend using it until they push their update.

Yeah, this should fix many graphical issues.
I'm just waiting a bit to be able to update to 3.12 though.

Would this fix the gigstructural engineering mod bug making the map stars disappear? They saiud to get a shader mod, this is all I can find

So far, only Real Space updated its shaders file. Origin Beings has very outdated shaders. The other mods haven't been updated to 3.12 yet.
I will also drop support for Minecraft Villagers and Ringworld Graphical Enhancements since they haven't been updated since last year.

No shader change in the beta of Stellaris 3.9. This mod will keep working just fine.
