The Boogjagter MA.1.a:

The Boogjagter, or “Bow Hunter” in English, was an entry for a high-speed light bomber, but with poor handling when armed, difficult bombing characteristics, and a fragile frame, it didn’t make the cut. However, just a little before its cancellation, a new HVAR rocket entered service with the Diamond Coastal air force, and it needed a plane that could mount it.

The Boogjagter was the aircraft of choice, and the aircraft transitioned from a bomber to a “Medium Attacker”. These re-armed Boogjagters hunted all through the Gulf of Mercia and the Mercian Gulf Coast, proving themselves deadly.

Unfortunately for the Boogjagter, the HVAR rockets were expensive and difficult to maintain, and with the rockets withdrawn from service, the Boogjagter was back to being a subpar bomber. Production of the aircraft stopped before it reached one-hundred, and the remaining models waited to be used again in the auxiliary role.

Startup:

(*)Turn on the “Main Battery Breaker” switch on the floor of the left side of the cockpit
(*)Turn on the “Engine Masters” switch and wait for about two seconds.
(*)Turn on the “Release Wheel Brakes” switch and throttle up to .15 to taxi.
(*)Taxi onto the runway.
(*)When you reach the runway, throttle up to full and pull up as hard as you can!
