A simple mod that adds the "Roads" building type to the game as a way for nations to increase infrastructure and transportation before railroads.

Update 1.0.1: Increased the amount of employees for all PMs in order to make roads more balanced.

Like it's stupid, I conquered Yemen and the AI there built 278 roads. I conquered Ethiopia, each state had over 200 roads. I check the UK, again, over 200 roads per state. And none of them had improved production methods and they were all damaging the economies of the AI

AI builds way too many roads and does not upgrade production methods for them

Please update Ownership to Goverment to use 'building_government_shares_add = 1' this make profits go to Country Treasure, old version was giving profits to burocrats 'building_bureaucrats_shares_add = 5'

Does this Mod allow slaves to man roads? Even after slavery was abolished, most nations that have prison labor make them build roads.

Wow that seems extremely profitable for a dirty road. I dont even think it should be a private thing. Highways did not exist after all and states were in charge of road upkeep not some private company. I would either rebalance it to make it less profitable or just remove the transport ticket all together and make the player pay for the upkeep until railroads are invented.
