Proper Classical Music

描述
This mod adds roughly 100 minutes of Western classical music from the timeframe of Victoria 3, carefully selected to add more variety to the soundtrack while retaining its atmosphere. Volume levels are normalised to match the game's existing tracks.

Includes compositions by Brahms, Debussy, Dvorak, Stravinsky, Tchaikovsky and Vaughan Williams, among others, representing different artistic movements (e.g. romantic, impressionist, modernist) and styles (e.g. waltzes, marches, symphonic movements).

Achievement and savegame compatible.

Future Plans:
Currently, there doesn't appear to be a way to add nation-specific music. If/when this is implemented by Paradox, I may add a small number of popular national themes.

This mod still plays correctly alongside the game's soundtrack (+DLC music) with the new player in 1.2. I will look into properly integrating it into the new player in the near future, which will allow tracks to be selected in the same way as base game ones now are.

Seconded on balance. One track I can think of off the top of my head is the Folk Song Suite; while my inner trombonist adores how powerfully they blare out, I can hear my old conductor yelling at me to tone it down.

Great selection overall, and I like the preference towards bombastic pieces to balance out the game's original score.

Too many bombastic dances and ballets that don't fit the tone of the game. Needs more chill.
