Ingersoll-Rand RD-10 Surface Drill Rig

Ingersoll-Rand RD-10 Surface Drilling Rig mounted on the MAN TGL Platform.


This mobile drilling rig enables you to drive out easily to remote locations and drill resources.

The RD-10 Recirculation Drill Rig is one of the most robust drilling platforms in the world, capable of drilling well past 3000 feet into the earth.

Features:
-Hydraulic pistons with mag-alls for stability while drilling.
-Folding design allows for quick transition when finished at a drilling site.

-Mast-mounted spotlights for night drilling
-Bit-mounted mineral hopper and funnel for loading into vehicles.

To set up the rig, park it in a spot with the back of the truck over an ore deposit.

2. Use the controls on the driver side bed to put down the stabilizer jacks and mag-alls, followed by the control panel and drill tower (mast).

3. Using the control panel, lower the drill bit into position and use the key to start the engine. (To raise the drill bit, press the "enable up" button and then hold the UP button.)

4, Set the engine throttle to max and then engage the clutches.

5. Set the drill throttle and begin collecting ore.

6. To dump ore, either set a hopper next to the drill bit and activate the funnel or wait for the hopper on the bit to fill up and raise the drill to whatever height you need and activate funnel.

*Known Issues*
Sometimes the drill bit doesnt lower, cause is unknown. Lowering the mast to 45-ish degrees will resolve the issue. Make sure infinite electricity is OFF.
