I use this engine for alot of my major builds, it has NEVER failed to exceed my expectations. No other engine on the workshop is as easy to use or plug in.

Possible issues: 1. fuel may have been of wrong type 2. pump may have been facing incorrect direction 3. pump may not have been powered... dont know but after consideration screw my previous post probably user error.... but assuming the other fuel did not reach the engine... ONLY 2km for a small tank seems poor but who cares just use a custom one :D

No 2-3 large fuel tanks i do remember seeing a small one, although it was replaced. dunno... still havent used this one since... but the others work pretty good

Are you using the single fuel tank that's put on the engine..? That one is only to show you where to hook the fuel tank on your ship up. It's literally the same as any other modular engine, just dressed up to look realistic. I cannot magically change the fuel consumption of modular engines.

This engine is questionable... It guzzles fuel like nothing i have ever seen before. couldn't even make it 2km before running out of fuel. Thats on full throttle, and even then I was not even getting good rps to make up for the use of fuel. This engine is ONLY practical for "creative" uses in boats. The decor shoots the price up, and not enough fuel to do any realistic missions (unless its a beauty pagent). Shame, engine looks good and runs well enough, but, poor fuel efficency + high cost + size makes it useless for practical use.

i am having cooling issues on newest version.

Well, some engines take up more space with their detailing than others, but just count the number of cylinders and check their size. A more powerful engine will usually be wise.

Is it always the bigger the better with your engines?
Kahrstrom  [作者] 2023 年 9 月 25 日 上午 9:11
It's impossible to make a universal guide for fitting the correct engine - it all varies on what your needs are. As a general rule of thumb, try to fit the biggest engine you can and run it at a low RPM in order to get good fuel efficiency.

How do I know which engine would be the one most fitting for my ship?
