Killing Waters II: After the Flood (Post-1985 #1)

描述
PLEASE NOTE: This is the first scenario for our adaptation of the CSX Mountain Subdivision as it appears after the 1985 Flood! You will need the new route "B&O Mountain Subdivision: Post 1985" to play this scenario! Based on the original route from High Iron Simulations. You can subscribe to our adapted route here: https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2861972984 .

In this sequel to our previous "Killing Waters" scenario which took place on the night of the Great Flood of 1985, it is now four years later, and we witness the resulting aftermath of that fateful night as it permanently effected railroad operations on the Mountain Subdivision.

This scenario takes us on a run from Grafton to M&K Junction, traversing the new bottleneck single track between Tunnelton and Rowlesburg, as well as the new single-track bridge span over the Cheat River.

This scenario is based on a real consist from 1989!

To enjoy the original "Killing Waters: The November 1985 Flood" scenario which can be played on the original B&O Mountain Subdivision route, click here: https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2706953825

arktiem--Please check out the other scenarios I've made for the route that use several other locomotives. The Killing Waters II is based on historic operations, just as the first one was. The consist was similar to a real consist from that time period! I've take a hiatus from scenario building over the past several months, but will get back into as inspiration comes to me, and time allows. Thank you for your interest and for enjoying my scenarios! P.S...SD45-2 engine is a nice model...I recommend getting it!

Hey there, mattyg1306! I absolutely loved the first "Killing Waters" you crafted with the B&O Mountain Sub and was really looking forward to running this scenario on the new route, but I was so exited to run it that I didn't notice the CSX SD45-2 requirement. I don't know much about route making at all, so I wondered if you would consider making a version of the scenario that uses a different CSX engine? I know it must be really hard work and it is a lot to ask of you, so if you aren't interested I will understand. I sure did love the first one! That was one great scenario! Thanks for reading! :choo::chooo::choooo:

May I ask what the DLC needed for the scenario is?

JPS--I have no idea what caused this. I played through the game about six times when I was writing the scenarios/setting up route modifications. It did happen to me on two occasions with the sticking trains, but I found that if I saved the game right after I first went into it, quit the game and then went back into the Standard folder and hit "Resume", the AI stuff was fixed. Like I said, it is hit and miss, not sure what is causing it, I have no warnings that I can see in the scripting area. Hopefully the other scenarios will work for you!

I tried this twice. Both times I had the sticky oncoming trains and the derailment after the stop, going downhill. I give up.

Yes it was going downhill after Tunnelton. I did not save and then resume.

Bruce--That's odd, I've played through each of these scenarios 3 or 4 times (I've been working on this for a while lol) and the only issue I had with this scenario is one time the oncoming trains were "sticking" (aka moving under 2mph) for some reason. A save of progress and quitting and then going back into it resolved the problem. I assumed it was my computer more than the game, but maybe not. When you say downhill, I assume you mean on the bottleneck between Tunnelton and Rowlesburg, right?
