Welcome to Altar of Adaptation!
This mod adds a altar to the holy mountain which you can use to enchant your spells.
This allows you to modify the way spells behave.

You can configure the mod in the mod settings menu.

You can find a list of added enchantments here.[docs.evaisa.dev]

There is also a sub mod which turns all modifiers into enchantments:
Altar of Adaptation: Modifiers

The mod is also compatible with Noita Together, however settings are not synchronized so all players need to have the same settings for the mod.

Latest patch notes:
v1.1.0
- Altar price is now individual for each button within the altar.
- Price scales with the amount of enchantments and their levels.
- Max enchantment level and count per button scales with a internal "skill" value, the more spells you have enchanted in the run, the higher level enchantments you can get and the more enchantments per button you can get.
- The too many enchantments error now takes into account if the spell already has that enchantment, so that you can still increase the level of a enchantment on a spell if your spell has 4 unique enchantments
- Every altar now has a unique set of enchantments for the same spell card.

- Fix modular causing enemies to spawn double gold
- Fix modular not working in some cases (i think)

- Add cost handler, preventing people from buying enchantments that are too expensive
- Add enchantment descriptions to the altar buttons on hover.

This mod has so much potential, but it's unrefined. Getting bloodlust and crit + on Sparkbolt in the first holy mountain without any debuffs like mana cost is crazy. It's a bit buggy, and with a little tweaking, it works well with other mods.

that's more of a prroblem with entangled worlds itself, it would have to synchronize the data stored on the spell card if it wants to support this mod

@Evaisa any way you can change the randomization of spell enchantments being applied to be randomized based on the seed? (procedural random) That way this mod works correctly in Noita Entangled Worlds (multiplayer). Right now, different clients have different spell enchantments, leading to crazy situations where spells set people on fire etc. unknowingly.
