The LC Retro Dash is back! This time as the LC Retro Dash MK-2, Absolutely beautiful in any retro-futuristic or 80's styled vehicle.

[UPDATE 16-09-2021]
Fix - More customizable gear indicator.
Rework - Microcontroller now 2x5 size instead of 3x3 size.
Feature - Short 2 second loading screen. (if you do not wish to have this simply don't hook up the on/off node)

Moved speed value and unit around for easier visibility.

[UPDATE 29-04-2021]
Added new electric mode to the display, needs minor set up before it works correctly. (need to set up amount of batteries in properties, and set the display to electric mode).

Features:
NEW Infinite color schemes that you can choose from in the microcontroller properties,
NEW RGB fade mode,
NEW Larger speed bar,
NEW Now features KTS and M/S as display units,
NEW Support for 10 gears or more, with the gear indicator staying centered,
Ability to change between many gear display settings,
Radio signal/Clock display modes on the bottom right of the display,
Switchable between several display units.

A nice retro dash made for a 1x3 display ONLY, you have to set some parameters in the microcontroller properties before using it. Feel free to use if you are able to.

If you do use it in a build and upload it, please put a link to this item in it's description.

Warning: The controller is quite big, coming in at a size of 2x5 blocks, but it is full of features, and a lot of customization.

i don't really do lua help, or lua in general often, it comes and goes, and by the time i work on the next thing i already forgot how i did the other thing, so i think you'd be better off asking someone else.

awsome dashboard, i like the neon colors, tho it doesnt fit my current build, i was wondering if you could possibly help with my own dashboard, its not nearly as complex with only one rotating needle and 3 slider needles, no changing numbers, i have the base design just dont have the functionality. i quite frankly cant wrap my head around lua like i couldnt wrap my head around cisco networking and dont know how to get it to function, if your up to help it would be greatly appreciated but is no problem if your not interested. :)

Did you change "Reverse Gear" in the properties? i'm assuming reverse has the value of -1 in your controller? What does -2 do in your controller? if it's for P then adjust "Park Gear" property to -2

Hi there, I'm trying to get my gears to say -2 R N 1 2, but when I turn off "Drive Gear = D" It just show R in place of 1 or 2. I assumed turning this off would mean feeding it the numbers 1+ would just show the gear number, am I interpreting this wrong? Any help appreciated!

im trying to make the gear indicator say L D P R instead of D N R P, i tried modifying the code, but i didnt manage to do it, can you tell me how to modify it to make it do that, or perhaps even upload an alterantive version? any help would be appreciated (im trying to make it work with https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2198587664 )

hey, sorry for the late reply, didn't see it before, seems notifications didn't quite work, yes, modifying is completely ok, no worries, it's more modifying and then uploading just the dash which is a problem

Hi, I want to put this on my nuclear powered ship, but I want to modify it a little. SW/S to GEN(generator output), MIN to LEV(throttle lever).

The ship does not have gears but it has 3 drive modes(works with stabilizers and water jets) - high speed cruise, normal, rough weather. I want to change PRND signs to HIGH, NORMAL, ROUGH, REVERSE.

I can modify it by myself, so all I need is your permission. Of course I will put a link on credit when I upload my ship on workshop.
