Introduction

First the T100 then the T40P and now what comes next? Well the T50 of course! The T50 is a modern semi truck for oil field duties which can also be used as a winch platform pretty similar to the T40P. Since it's a semi truck it also has a fifth wheel plate for semi trailer. Conveniently, coming with the T50 is the KX12 12meters off-road trailer

This creation is inspired by the real world Kenworth 963 which is a huge oil field truck.

Information

  • Power: 4 Cylinder 3x3 Modular
  • Max Speed: around 100 KM/h
  • Large Winch & Medium Winch
  • Tool Box
  • VHF Radio

Operation

  • Climb aboard
  • Ignition
  • Select Appropriate Lights
  • Release Handbrake
  • Shift it into Gear: -1 for Reverse, 0 for Park, 1 for High and 2 for Low
  • Accelerate

Hooking the trailer

  • Align the fifth wheel with the trailer kingpin and back up until it connects
  • Go to the trailer and lift the skid legs
  • On the truck, near the large which is a cable; connect it from the truck's grey cable connection to the trailer's grey cable connection.
  • Drive off
  • To Disconnect; first go to the trailer and lower the skid legs
  • Disconnect the cable from the trailer and store it near the winch
  • On the fifth wheel plate, Disconnect the trailer.
  • Drive off

Note: I strongly suggest you drive it mostly on Low gear (2) unless you want to crash into things. If it's your style there are welding torches and fire extinguishers on board.

The brakes do not lock without air so it's still fine

Awesome. Another suggestion is to embed slide rails to the trailer deck to make it easy to lock down loads

Cool. I've been working on it and made it an army transport. one suggestion is that you have enough deck space on the truck to add a crane
