Ever had a mishap involving an Ocean (or Arctic) biome and a Terraformer? Then this is the mod for you!

My friend Najja and I were in the midst of a modded Starbound playthrough together, and we encountered an issue on an ocean planet. We attempted to terraform the planet to fix the issue, but when that didn't work, we wanted to terraform it back. Only, there was no ocean terraformer. So, in true AnomNom fashion, I did it myself.

These terraformers are only intended to be used as utility items, and must be spawned in, as they cannot be crafted. They will work on non-oceanic planets, but if the planet doesn't already have an actual ocean, one will not be generated. You can, theoretically, use invisible blocks to fill in the background, and flood the world with your own ocean, but why do that when you can just go to an ocean moon?

changing the planet type does not get rid of the ocean layer. to do that you need to place some kind of invisible block across the background of the entire ocean and drain it manually

Let me pick your brain, since you seem to have tried to do something like this before but failed. What I want to do is put something like a pine forest parallax on an ocean planet, and not the other way around, and preferably desalinate the water. Is that what you were trying to do before you screwed it up? Will a regular terraformer do that for me?

Tried it after biomes weren't working correctly, sand filled the entire sky. Cool mod.

could you by any chance make one for the arctic type? i got the same problem, just with an arctic world

could it be possible to make it so planet that recieve the ocean biome produce infinite water like ocean planed does? (plz it's been 3 day i am searching a home star who just have baren/moon and a ocean pretty close together the only thing i found is baren and ice...... if you have a "mental sanity" terraformer i could really use it)

Really it'll be fine, just the background will have an underwater layer that looks strange.

What if I use this on a palnet I don't like? Will it break my game or just ruin the planet?

As far as I know ocean only generates when you land on a planet with special parameter. Terraformers doesn't change this parameter.
