Caterpillar 3406E Sound & Engine Pack

**Only works with ATS v1.39**

Proudly introducing the Caterpillar 3406E Sound & Engine Pack. All sounds were recorded from a Peterbilt 359 with CAT 3406 engine with approximately 20 onboard perspectives including microphones mounted at the engine, intake, exhaust, trailer and in the cabin. This package is not final and will be adjusted accordingly, as and when SCS update ATS or as per community feedback.

This pack only contains engines sounds. No other sounds are included.

A number of engines are included that I have carefully designed with references available online.

CAT 3406E 455HP
CAT 3406E 475HP
CAT 3406E 550HP
CAT 3406E 550HP Tuned 669HP.

Scroll down and read past comments @_Jake_brake_217_. This mod hasn't been touched since Dec/28/2020. He's not going to update when he has his own website and mods. They way better then this old one and imo its worth the few $$$.

Very cool mod! I love the sound of a CAT. It's a shame that they haven't produced a truck engine since about the same time that the game was released. Check the truck websites - there's no CAT's available on ANY brand of truck...they now only provide engines for the heavy-duty construction, road construction & maintenance...and the military. It's so OLD news that CAT's website no longer even mentions their ceasing to manufacture them...it just lists the engines for those specific applications. CAT's were cool - they were always the most expensive engines. but they were often chosen by the trucker's that had used them in the past. Damn fine engine, when they were still made.

As I'v said before, this mod is most likely dead. if you want any zee's engine mods, go to his web page. Google "Zee's mod" and you'll find it.
I am using both his C16 and Cummin N14 plus and both are favourite engine mods.
