G'Day, Tragic here....

My new version of my Mage Knight Mod. If you want to use it please do, let me know if you find any problems. I'll not be taking down my original Mage Knight mod. I'll just be leaving this up for those that want to use it.

Why make a new MK Mod? Isn't there a really good one already?
Yes. Tuff-Luck kinda took over my MK Mod when he started building his increadably good Mage Knight Plus (Highly Scripted) table. It has a ton of automation and is an extremely good mod.

The problem is that it does not really gel with how I like to play TTS. I find that mods in TTS that are as scripted as Tuff's one remove the feeling of playing a boardgame. I like the virtual "tactile" sensation of physically moving components and stuff, just like in real life. I know it is a fine line, I mean I have some automation in mine as well, and always have.. but for my own needs for MK I wanted to take some of his much better scans and stuff and some ideas (like the shadow functions) and incorporate them into a mod that I enjoy playing.

In addition, there is a strong and large community of people playing Custom Games. Using their own scenarios, components and MKs. The heavily scripted version of Mage Knight is nearly impossible to be used for custom games with out Tuff making large scripting exceptions for that particular thing.

So while this mod is really just a custom table for me and others that feel as I do, I also think it may find a audience within Mage Knight's "variants" scene.

Also I cherry picked some tokens and scans from Tuff's mod, as he re-scanned them all much higher rez. So, for example, all the cards in this mod come from Tuff's

UPDATE : 11/01/2024

• FIXED : Fixed a long standing bug with how the dummy player works. It should now deal correctly. Sometimes it used to deal two cards if you chose to deal 1. I also added a click counter. So you can click the number of times you need.

• CHANGED : I changed how the buttons worked, they should now be easier to click.

• REBUILT : I have redone the day/night script. It now should work as expected. I also added a Yellow and Black die that "count" the rounds as you go and added a red die you can set to max rounds to help you keep track of things.

yeah... they are in there.. try pressing "2" when hovering the mouse over the token... or look in the top left of the table. I can not remember exactly. I'm on holiday at the mo so I do not have a computer right now. (on phone) so I can not check.

Thanks for this mod. I agree that Tuff-Luck's mod is excellent but too scripted to enjoy as a board game experience. I'm glad to have found yours. Kind of a relief really.

Thanks for the module, will there be a way to get the images of the cards in good quality? I lost some and I want to print them.

hmm... there does seem to be some kind of bug there.. not sure when that was introduced. I'll check that out when I get time. For now... a work around is to build the deck and die pools with no dummy player.. pull out the dummy board, get the card you want rdy but do not "setup"... select it all and ctrl+x to cut it... then start game and ctrl+v to paste it back.. this should always work. I'll fix this when I get a chance. Probably tomorrow afterwork.
