[WOTC] Archon's Visual Diversity

This mod gives the base game Archon an alternative skin that they can spawn with, much like how Advent soldiers have a model for each gender they can spawn as. (If you didn't know about this till now then it's understandable since there are only slight differences in model and they only have a slightly higher voice pitch)

The skin is the Valkyrie one from DerBK's A Better Advent which was created by Kexx who has also made other custom enemy models like the Andromedon Prime from the same mod.

So whenever an Archon shows up there is a chance they will show up with either the base game model or the Valkyrie one, So same AI, same skills, same corpses, there is just simply an alternative look now.

This should be compatible with any mods that effect an Archon's AI and overall should be compatible with most mods even ABA alongside that mod's Valkyrie, however if any bugs arise just comment below and I'll try to get to them if I can.

During pod activation cinematics sometimes the Archons will not look the same as they appear in game, a male Archon will appear as female vice versa, this is a cosmetic "issue" only and will only happen sometimes, as of now there isn't anything that can be done about it.



Unlikely to be compatible with mods that replace the Archon model such as Vortex's [WOTC] Enhanced Ragdoll Physics and FX


I'd like to thank Kexx for creating this amazing Valkyrie model in the first place as well as DerBK for his ABA mod.

MrShadow helped out by making the mod a skin for the existing Archon instead of the mod being a new unit that was exactly like the Archon, this helps make enemy spawn pools less cluttered for when one uses a lot of enemy mods.
