Short Version: I have no idea. I don't use the mod you linked.
Long Version: IF that mod overwrites any part of the welders xml data, then they will conflict. Try the mod linked in the description to alter welder data at runtime (configurable vanilla+) vs loadtime (this mod)

1) Did a straight copy->paste of the relevant sections of XML
2) Altered the radius to the modded value
3) Ran XML Tidy
4) Bumped the mod minor version by 1
5) Publish
I didn't think I needed a more thorough change note.
What precisely where you expecting different?
