I believe this mod is still working, but I also believe it wasn't as of the latest patch (Apex). Gate, can you confirm one way or another? My welders were all short-sighted about a week ago but now they seem to be eagle-eyed.

Also, love your mod, makes SE worth automating. Thank you for making it.

Short Version: I have no idea. I don't use the mod you linked.

Long Version: IF that mod overwrites any part of the welders xml data, then they will conflict. Try the mod linked in the description to alter welder data at runtime (configurable vanilla+) vs loadtime (this mod)

Will this work with ADQ - QOL since the other mod is a dependency and is loaded last regardless of load order?

Working on a small grid drone mothership and couldn't quite get the position of the welders in the right place to be able to print off all of my tiny drones no matter how I adjusted the merge blocks\welders. Tried large & small grid mothership docking\welding configurations to I gave up and cheated a bit....lifes too short. Another mod subbed ;) Will sort things out when icba but for now, great mod, cheers

1) Did a straight copy->paste of the relevant sections of XML
2) Altered the radius to the modded value
3) Ran XML Tidy
4) Bumped the mod minor version by 1
5) Publish

I didn't think I needed a more thorough change note.
What precisely where you expecting different?

It's not working anymore since the file CubeBlocks.sbc has been modified heavily.

I've just installed this on my server but didn't have time to check. When I do know, if the author doesn't respond before then, will update with whether it still functions or other. idk, I'm really tired haha. Hope it works :)

@AmpCAT Sorry, this mod is nothing more than an overwrite of an xml file. You can easily alter the mod (or even the base game) ranges yourself, however i am unsure how base game edits would affect an MP session.

PS (just in the case you didn't know) SE mods are simply renamed .zip files. No special programs or tools necessary.

Is there any way to pump up the area of effect a bit more, to match the Twin Welders mod? A configuration file or something? I like the twin welders mod, but it has the old crappy models and lack of textures. Yours has the nice pretty textures!

Was just looking around for a better Ship Tool System, that isn't as strong, as the Tiered Ship Tools. Stumbled across your version and saw it was updated less than an h ago :)

Not working in 1.192. It looks like they split the CubeBlocks files apart, and the Welders/Grinders are in CubeBlocks_Tools.sbc.
