Lite version is easier version of Yet Another Economy Mod (hard economy mod for Euro Truck Simulator 2). If classic YAEM is too hard for you try Lite!

Brings many changes to economy model and makes game much harder and longer.
If you think that default economy is too easy - YAEM is for you.

But remember - if you're looking for realistic economy - YAEM is not what you're looking for.
It's balanced, it's hard, it's much more realistic but not real. It is still a game. :-)

Lite version is made for people who wants harder economy but classic version of YAEM is too hard / time consuming for them. In this version everything is same as in classic version but you and your drivers will earn 2x more money and experience than with classic YAEM. So it's still much harder and longer than vanilla game but not so much. ;)

If you're Promods or TSM user you have to use Lite for Promods & TSM

  • 2x less experience for driving with cargo (0.6XP per 1KM)
  • 5x less experience for driving without cargo (0.10XP per 1KM)
  • 5x less money for jobs (€3.0 per 1KM + bonuses) with own truck
  • More balanced but smaller bonuses from skills
  • Cheaper garages
  • Bigger but much harder to pay loans
  • 2x more experience needed for new level
  • 2x more experience for manual parking
  • Much bigger penalties and more chance to get caught
  • Bigger bonuses from eco skill which is now useful and important
  • 20 jobs to first loan
  • stable fines amount for all driver levels
  • 55% truck refund
  • 35% fuel discount in own garage
  • Bigger penalty for abandoned delivery
  • More time to deliver cargo
  • More time to find place to sleep

and many, many other lesser changes and tweaks.

If you find YAEM or YAEM Lite default bank loans or police fines as little too harsh you can alter it with one of addons.

  • Lite Bank Addon - installments of loans are 2x easier to pay but it took 2x more time to pay all of them.
  • Lite Police Addon - police fines are 2x smaller and you got 10 minutes to find place to sleep. Same chance to be caught though.

Example of usage:
  • YAEM Lite + Lite Police = easier economy + hard loans + easier police fines
  • YAEM Lite + Lite Bank = easier economy + easier loans + hard police fines
  • YAEM + Lite Bank = hard economy + easier loans + hard police fines
  • YAEM + Lite Bank + Lite Police = hard economy + easier loans + easier police fines

Your choice.

Remember to set correct loading priority. Addons must be set with higher priority than YAEM / YAEM Lite.

  • Going East! DLC
  • Scandinavia DLC
  • Vive la France! DLC
  • Italia DLC
  • Beyond the Baltic Sea DLC
  • Road to the Black Sea DLC

None of these DLC's are required to run vanilla version!

Not compatible with any other economy changing mods.

You need RusMap fix if you want to use RusMap

YAEM have to be on top of the list, with highest priority possible!
In other case another mods can override economy settings!

Only Lite Bank / Police Addons must be set with higher priority than YAEM / YAEM Lite!

Example:
  • YAEM RusMap fix (highest priority)
  • YAEM Poland Rebuilding fix
  • YAEM Lite Police / Bank Addon
  • classic YAEM or YAEM Lite
  • rest of files of other mods

Grantastic G thanks a lot man. i love this mod. at first it crashed but then i read that the lite version is the one working with this trick and that was my mistake. it will work in ATS? lets see

This mod can be easily made 1.47 compatible. On the mod page for the Non-Lite version of YAEM, a comment by kapitan.marchewa.17 gives a few lines of code that need to be added to the file economy_data.sii file. For me the path to this file was Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\227300\1460088755\universal\def. Very easy to do and worked great. I've used the YAEM Lite Police Addon and Lite Bank Addon as is (pay attention to loading order for these).

The dev quit ETS2 modding... Unfortunately no updates will happen anymore

Are you still updating this?
Sadly it does not work with the new version.
Very likely because of the changes in the economic menu.
If it would work again that would be great, i only play with this mod.
