This is an extension of another mod called "Arachne Mod Color Patch" which also modifies the race's .species file to allow you to change the eye color, that's why it's a required item.

I improved the emotes too to better fit the head with all those spidery eyes.

There's also a new hairstyle: baldo mode.

Female body sprites were created by moomal, big thanks to them!

1. If your Arachne looks different than on screenshots, make sure you don't have any other appearance changing mod for Arachne except the required color patch.
   
2. If Starbound crashes during loading, check if you subscribed to both the Arachne race mod and the color patch.
   
3. If you've done all of the above and something still doesn't work, something else is at fault. This mod only changes sprites, it has no right to cause any more problems.
   
4. If something about the reskin looks like it could be better, just let me know and I'll see what I can do.
