Lassel Massif (Moon map)

描述
First in a series of new maps of different locations over the Solar System. Created using real elevation data and imagery from Lunar Reconnaissanse Orbiter Camera. Terrain covers an extension of 67Km2, making it the biggest map in TKOM alongside with Cydonia.

Lassell C is a lunar impact crater that is located in the eastern part of the Mare Nubium and is named after William Lassell. It lies to the west of the crater Alpetragius, south of Davy and southwest of Alphonsus. South is the land cape of Promontorium Taenarium. In real life Lassell C is 9km in diameter. In the game the terrain has been scaled to 1/3 due to game engine limitations. In this map Lassel C crater has a diameter of 3Km.

No scenarios or missions included, just the map for use with the editor.

How did you edit the Lassel.loc? I only have lassel_massif_76561198013021372.pak

Never mind. I applied the moon.loc edits to the lassel.loc file and vehicle airlocks now work.

Hi. Vehicle airlocks will not depressurise for me with this map. They used to, when I was on Windows 7 but not since moving to W10.

I have done the usual moon.loc edits and have tried with and without other mods. Bases are fine. So I was wondering if any one has any ideas? Otherwise I will have to do without this map and that would be a shame.

This map is too large for TKOM and the SIM is freezing, also the game saves are not loading; too large. I am going to try and cut the size down by trimming the edges...maybe...
