I was a little sceptical at first but giving the game time and a chance i found i really enjoyed the gameplay loop and immersion of the world especially with friends, My only gripe would be the camera distance I feel the far camera should be the standard no matter which aiming mode your in and it can be a little nauseating to get used, other than a few minor bug or glitches nothing out of the ordinary has broken so far

Honestly i was really worried about this title even after playing the beta, but after learning the systems and getting into the rhythm of it all i wanna do is play more and more.

I'm going to echo what a few have said i originally glanced over this from the emoji face on the banner but holy crap i'm glad i gave it a look, i bought it for me and my friends and we had a blast in our first session, the gameplay is solid and the monsters so far are varied and interesting to try and counter. Honestly do yourself a favour and give it a go !

Honestly a refreshing change, will outright say i didn't like the damage mechanic in snowrunner due to how it can bug up and just total a bunch of your vehicle from a glitchy rock, crane controls need some work but i see what they were going for to allow vehicle and crane control at the same time than locking to one, other than that road and bridge building is a huge welcome and im excited to see the full release with all the vehicles and maps/jobs to complete

I'd recommend with a cautious yes, so far the pacing has been a little bit tedious for my liking but the main issue for me is the performance is all over the place with settings having little to no impact (rtx 3080ti i7 8086k 4.0ghz 16gb 3000Mhz ram) though this may stem from 1440p ultrawide your millage may vary.

I look forward to these issues being ironed out in future with any luck.

Easily one of the most fun train games Ive ever played, being able to employ basic AI for tasks as a solo player is an absolute dream and i eagerly look forward to the further developments

Solid game and as others have said just a direct upgrade from the first, story I was a little non fazed by but the positives massively outweigh this to the point im not sure why im mentioning it

If your playing for the point of co-op, don't buy it, it will just crash a lot, solo singleplayer works fine though

As someone who struggles with horror i find the game to be a great blend of action to the horror moments, the co-op with friends makes it immensely more bearable and insanely fun and the performance is way higher than expected and runs incredibly smooth
