Wholesome 最近的评测

Pre-ordered because I was hyped since the first trailer 2020 for this and the demo was amazing.
Had no idea besides the demo what kind of story I'll get into.

Did not exactly expect to have so many wholesome moments in it.

Clearly a 11 out of 10. Truly a wholesome game.
Melted my heart and I became a virtual dad.

Three hours in. Three hours a huge WTF.

- I'm heavily convinced the story in those three hours so far has been written by AI. But even AI wouldn't have slop like this. It's basically "Yo you gotta do this, that man awaits you" but then instead of continuing the story or making it make sense suddenly you gotta kill some ugly NPCs that have nothing to do with the things before at all.

- Graphics on cinematic. 4090 ready to go brrr. Game still looks somehow worse than some games from 10 years ago. How?

- Overloaded UI, odd inventory, mechanics that seem truly odd.

- Out of sync characters. Let them talk a line, then wait 2 seconds for the next one. Fast forwarding of dialogues occasionally breaks them.

- Movement is awful. Makes the world surely bigger if you constantly move slow and run out of stamina.

Overall those are only the major dealbreakers I've witnessed in those three hours. I paid 80 bucks for garbage - which is fine, as I simply will avoid buying anything from that development studio and publisher in the future.

But definitely can not recommend unless somehow something magically changes in the next few hours. Because clearly the story will be utterly garbage with how it started.

So a polite DO NOT BUY THIS GAME IF YOU KNOW WHAT A REAL GOOD GAME IS for now.

Update after 13 hours
Still playing as I couldn't refund after the original three hours and I was bored lately.
But man, it's the first time like I feel I have to force myself playing a game. Never would I have thought that IGN would get one of their reviews right. It's an awful game in every aspect.

Final update
Game was so whack I stopped playing entirely. So bad I didn't even wanna force myself anymore playing it.

A truly great tool for management of multiple monitors which definitely has some advantages over the own management included within Microsoft's operating system.

It's a tiny cute little game for the "when you got nothing else to do" kind of hours.
Definitely recommended it if you can pick it up for a good price.

Okay-ish game - personally I feel a heavy lack of depth when it comes to this game.
Like sure, you can build. Sure, you can unlock certain perks by defeating certain "bosses" (if you can even call them that), but that's about it.

It's that kind of game that most pick up, play a week or two with friends and then likely never touch again. There's not all too much to do in it compared to other games.

Fallout 4 is an okay-ish game in all it's honesty.
It lacks heavily what the entries before gave you, which is decision making and a proper dialogue system.

The replay value of it feels compared to Fallout: New Vegas and Fallout 3 still better, as technically speaking it's running good on modern systems. But that's about it. The story is quite mediocre, the gameworld feels less crafted with heart than the two other games before and therefore I simply, although I love the Fallout franchise, can not let a positive review here.

Also do not be fooled by my gameplay hours, I played this on multiple platforms.

Quite a nice game actually to play with a friends group.

Although I gotta say the gameplay feels too repetitive to keep playing it.
So it's for me more like a "once in a while" kind of game.

I can recommend it however otherwise.

Quite boring story, repetitive and one of those very empty open worlds.
Unless something very special happens within my playthrough, I wouldn't recommend it.

I feel like I wasted my money for a truly generic story with an open world that feels empty yet despite being open also very linear.

I originally got this game back during release day on the PlayStation 3.
It's gameplay is just pure gold. It lacks deep storytelling like in MGS4 but it's definitely worth it.

If you get it on sale it's a steal. Sadly Konami hasn't brought any entry into the series after this one,
if we just ignore the horrible survival game attempt by them.

Played it during childhood as I got it in a gaming magazine for PC. Happy I got it now on Steam too.
Nostalgia hitting hard with this masterpiece. Definitely recommending it.

A really good story with extreme good gameplay. For the year of release being 2003 it's still even on newer systems enjoyable.

10/10 - Just buy it if you want it, can't do much wrong with it.
