PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD FIX YOUR ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GAME! I HAVE CRASHED SO MANY TIME WITH THE SAME ERROR "ATTEMPTED TO WRITE TO READONLY MEMORY". THIS IS THE ONLY GAME THAT EVER CAUSES MY PC TO CRASH. I HAVE CRASHED SO MANY TIMES IN THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ DEEP DESERT AND LOST MY ORNITHOPTER WHEN I LOAD BACK IN

Edit after additional 100 hrs:
They still have not fixed the bugs in the game. The game will crash randomly on you and if your at the late game, which is terrible to begin with, and your game crashes your more than likely screwed. Twice in the last 2 weeks i have crashed while flying in the deep desert and when crossing from one sector to another, which you have to cross multiple just to get anywhere so its very common thing, I crashed. When i loaded back in my ornithopter was in the next sector over from where i spawned in at. both me and my thopter would spawn at the border but because the borders seem to be setup so that you can only cross while in the air, you cant run to your thopter. And if you were carrying anything in your thopter you cant pick it up, so your screwed.
Good luck getting any assistance or worthwhile support from funcom. they will just respond with the same thing they have listed on their support page for what to do when you game crashes which is to verify game files and run SFC. doesnt matter if you ran all those and it came back clear and you told them that. they will still just say that.

Edit after DLC Launch:
Most underwhelming DLC I have ever seen. Advertised a new building set, its 4 pieces. Foundation, floor, wall, and wide door. A wide door that, mind you, cant fit anything but the sandbike.
Game is still a buggy mess. Endgame loot pool has been repeated multiple times. Devs seem to never listen to feedback. but hey you can name your vehicles now and edit your characters appearance.
Might as well go play something else because this game is clearly still in Beta and likely will be for another year.

Is the stress of work and daily life not enough? Get Frostpunk 2 where you need to manage thousands of people who all seem to hate each other and somehow figure out how to keep them alive. Want to try to please everyone? Good luck, eventually too many decisions for the common good will piss off one of the groups of people and radicalize the other making you regret your decisions.

Due to recent changes to their policy locking players out of the game I have changed my review.

its pretty good i guess

Story was very short, even playing through some sections going for complete stealth it less than 8 hours. Game is buggy as hell, consistent crashes, lighting effects bugged going through structures, checkpoint restarts had me at sub 10 fps for 10-15 seconds after loading back in.

Massive cash grab for a game that should only have been worth $30

Great funny little mini game.
