The combat reminds me kind of a bloody and messy version of chess combined with unit management and world exploration like Mount and Blade. Extremely in depth and challenging, so fun.

A beautifully executed niche - requires a lot of patience to play thoughtfully and fully through. Infinitely rewarding.

Nothing like it. A deeply raw and solemn experience. It's just you and nature and there's such a realistic and beautiful element to it. It's very methodical and slow paced much like the real life parallel would be. A fantastic but dark & hopeless survival experience.

I have been playing this game for 4 years total off steam mainly. This game is timeless and AMAZING. It has only gotten SO much better and its ever improving. The best way I can describe it is imagine having a detailed view of an ant colony. You can see how they operate, resources, their morales, politics, the individual CHARACTER traits of each of these small little specks, and just SO much more detail. For me at least the amount of dopamine that hits my brain with is intense personally lol, and just watching how civilizations develop and the stories that accumulate in their history is such a satisfying gameplay loop that genuinely feels timeless to me. They're only adding more and more detail and more and more polish and amazingness. This game has gone from a suprisingly pretty good mobile game in 2019 to a fully fledged unbelievable sandbox game. I love it to bits, keep doing what you're doing Maxim.

Best money I've ever spent, I can't stop laughing

Extremely good in most aspects - especially for an alpha. That being said it's incredibly buggy... The main mission isn't too bad but the other operation is basically unplayable.

The main operation though was an absolute blast and took me and my friends 2 hours or so to beat. Def recommend for 20 dollars, as it's only going to improve.

Absolute gem of a game that I can't stop coming back to. Genuinely so much fun with love so obviously dumped into it. The community is usually just a bunch of chill mfs stoned asf having a grand time, fantastic game.

Boneworks was by far one of the best games I have ever played. The campaign is mysterious and thrilling. Unfortunately I cannot say the same for Bonelab in the slightest. I was extremely disappointed in the lackluster and boring campaign. I was constantly confused. Most of the campaign is 10 minute mini levels that unlock a new avatar that has some kind of mediocre ability. Strength, being fast, or just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ being tall. Boneworks had a sprawling and expansive open ending campaign, each level feeling like a whole world you can explore. I hope the mods to this game can allow amazing thing, but for the base game alone for $40 I absolutely cannot recommend.

TLDR: Buy Boneworks
