I have been playing for a good while now and I have to say it now...This game is abandoned. Not even just by the dev's but even from the original community you won't see people posting much of anything about this one at all.

The dev's have moved on from what it seems as they have one other games after this but from the limited comments on that one it seems as though they've just dropped a unfinished title and fled. This becomes more apparent as you'll notice quickly they just made a first person view only version of UEBS2's engine with some added fighting mechanics. From what it seems they "finished" this game however it's missing a lot of really useful things for it.

.For instance modded units can't seemingly have new voice lines so they all sound like the base foot soldier
.Modded units can't have more then one attack so if you added a giant kaiju you'd either have to have them as a projectile unit or malae unit there's no way to switch them or give them both
.Modded units all share the same tab which if you install a pack you'll have to read tiny text and very carefully drag the tab on the side to not skip anything.
.Maps have pathing errors fighting in the Egypt map's center town should show you units getting stuck on roofs pretty often
.The unit creator is also very bare it allows you to make you're own but you can't do much but alter stats on existing units which can only be so fun for so long
.Many maps like old west just seemingly won't load for me no matter what I do uncertain if it's a issue for others
.Projectile units are insanely broken if you have a army of 200 arrows vs 1000 soldier it's possible to win with just projectiles
.some maps don't have proper walls so units can pass threw them
.Certain units are immortal sense they have far too much splash damage and knock back
.some modded units and maps somehow feel better quality then the base game units
.shotgun smite ability is very underpowered
.The dev's said modding would be easier however from what it seems this hasn't made any change as modding resources are insanely hindered
.The units path finding is not great and sometimes they'll just stand still for a minute thinking where to move and other times will seemingly wonder off in a random direction for 1 unit when theirs like 10 closer to them
.Units on guard or hold will sometimes fire off and charge too early or in some cases not soon enough and will stand in place as 5 of their units get singled out as they watch
.Every battle turns in to a line battle no matter what you do I get some people want that but in a castle battle I want a fight to take place in a little bit of everywhere but sadly they'll all group up and you only get 18 armies so this ends up becoming really sad to see sense a body pile will just be in one location. I think maybe if they added a berserk mode where units just randomly charge at a random unit in a crowd and or just kind of back off some troop to a different area to seperate the enemies army then that'd be a great way to help

This is a handful of my complaints truthfully I can't recommend the game in it's state not after the kind of big disappointment that I went threw anyway. I remember following this game for a couple of years and thinking it was a dream come true but sadly it's just kind of a tech demo...a 2nd tech demo that left far too early.

I also don't write many reviews sense I never see people read them often sense it is just a handful of people saying a sentence and the like but I figured this game needed a good long complaint of sorts sense no one really goes in to why the game is all that bad other then just saying so. anyway if you did read this have a good day...go play uh...like elder scrolls arena or daggerfall those are free on steam...I think?

It’s one of those games where you play and on the title screen you don’t feel like it’s a high-quality game and then you start messing around in the sandbox mode and you just see the absolute mass slaughter of everything and how to scale everything is it makes you feel the power of two armies battling up against each each other? It is some of the greatest and most wild simulation gameplay that I have seen. I do have some notes I don’t necessarily like the RTS mode. it feels very clunky, but just letting the game run and play out itself. Seems to be pretty well done
