In an era of game developers that are quickly succumbing the mobile phone influence, it's nice to have a developer that does care about their audience, at least with FFXIV. The devs do care about the community and have gone above and beyond to create an amazing game. Overall I do feel the game is enough to rival the likes of World of Warcraft in many ways. The story is incredible and the depth of the job system is really done well, with more classes already announced in the upcomming expansion shadowbringer. I do feel the pvp is a bit lacking and that the game could use some updates to bring it more in line with most other MMO's, such as more diversity in the playable races and a more in depth transmog/glamour system. But overall it is a wonderful game that everyone should at least try if they are looking for something different in the mmo realm.
