Firstly Star Wars Battlefront II is the greatest game from my childhood, being able to play this game w/ the multiplayer alone made it worth it. The Campaign is great, and the famous "Galactic Conquest" game mode still holds up. Upon launch there were some server issues which have been well documented. However for the most part they've HAVE been fixed. The issues that remain are simply just server side latency issues. The Battlefront Collection is still a banger, its worth it alone for the Single Player, especially w/ the added Achievement support. Which has been dope and its been fun grinding them out on their own while diving back into all the classic maps.

I've really...really enjoyed getting back into the OG Battlefronts, the games are both just genuine fun. Even better when you're able to connect w/ an old buddy who you use to play the game w/ when you were both kids.

The launch could have been better, the servers could be less laggy. But overall the game is a blast and I've been loving diving back into these classic games.

One of my favourite games as a kid, loved playing it on the n64. Graphics are dated but for me its the pure nostalgia, this may have been the first ever Star Wars game I ever played. So many memories as a young kid replaying the Hoth levels. With that being said its nostalgic, yes, but I don't want to downplay the great story line. The game takes place during and after Episode 5, and ties in with some of the original trilogy characters.

SotE had a really cool cross market campaign, in that they released tie-in comics and novel's among so many other mediums of merchandise. I highly suggest getting this game, assuming you can look past the dated graphics. Defo one of the most under rated Star Wars games ever, and maybe even one of the most under rated n64 games ever.
