In 2010, the first game of four came out that became this compilation, and i fell in love with it, being both a longtime Touhou and Super Robot Wars fan.

I never thought it would get a english release, but here we are.

This game does a masterful job at combining SRW style gameplay, while also introducing it's own unique mechanics, and story crossovers, with the different Touhou games being interwoven in a very interesting way, like the Moriya Shrine's arrival in Gensokyo happening during the Scarlet Devil Mansion incident.

The attack animations are great, and especially the music is amazing.

I have heard some users report crashing issues, so keep in mind it may not be a fully bug-free release, though i personally havent had any yet.

I'm not too good at writing detailed reviews so i'm mainly just gushing about how much i love this game, and i hope with this release more people enjoy this game.
