Welcome id Software Fans!

Welcome to the id Software fan lounge! This is a group where all id Software lovers can come to discuss/play all of there favorite id Software games with other fans. The purpose of this group is to allow fans to have a place to discuss any id games they please. One thing that we ask is...please follow all of our rules, and respect everyone! This is a group to just have discussions about id games, play id games, and view up coming events in id games. Everyone is welcome to join so, please have fun, and enjoy! Thank you!

Group Rules:

1. No spamming, hacking, ANYTHING...that involves screwing up other peoples accounts.

2. Be respectful of everyone in here.

3. NO promoting any outside websites for any reason whatsoever!

4. Threats of any kind toward another persons account or anything like that will have 48 hours to apologize or pay the price by getting banned.

5. If you would like to announce an up coming event of your own, please contact me instead of promoting it in the chat room or comment box.

6. Contact an administrator or officer if someone is continually harassing you via chat. (We will respond right away!)

A Sincere Apology

First off I would like to apologize for letting this group die and fade into obscurity. When I started this group back in November of 2009, I was just a young dude who just began his freshman year of high school. I didn't have a PC of my own-or even knew how they worked-at the time and instead frequently used my parents' computer. I used it so much so that it eventually became burned out and gave way. I wasn't able to get online or Steam for that matter, for a very long time ultimetly leading to the groups "death."
Here I am many years later at the age of 22 with a computer that I built myself and a lot more knowledge than I had back then. I am frequently on Steam more than I used to be and would like to do my best (with the help of others) to bring this group back to life.
The first thing I will be doing is adding both Wolfenstein: The New Order and Wolfenstein Old Blood to the groups related game list. Seeing how the old id Software is not longer around I still feel that the IP was handled very well by MachineGames. I will also be adding the new DOOM, which is releasing this Friday (May 13th) as I enjoyed it despite others reviews towards the beta.

I am hoping to bring this group back from the dead so that we may (hopefully) be able to talk about id Software games of the past and future. Regardless of different opinions all are welcome here. I am sincerely sorry for being absent all of these years and never offering an explanation.

I was 3 when, I met John Romero and John Carmack, So this was like 1993, My father tried to get a job with ( id Software ) - My father is a IT Programmer, I just remember back in 1993 going to Texas and they're old place and spending time with these great guys.

To all members of this little community, I want to apologize for it not being active. My computer had been down forever and once I had finally got it replaced I had completely forgotten what I had planned on doing. So, I plan on making this group more active with the help of those loyal enough to actually stay. I'm currently working on designing a WAD file for Doom 2 and the Zandronum engine; so expect to hear from me a lot.

Its been in development for a while, but it is very secretive. Cancelaltion rumours have been squashed as well. Google search "Doom 4 leaked images". May or may not be real
