I was 3 when, I met John Romero and John Carmack, So this was like 1993, My father tried to get a job with ( id Software ) - My father is a IT Programmer, I just remember back in 1993 going to Texas and they're old place and spending time with these great guys.

To all members of this little community, I want to apologize for it not being active. My computer had been down forever and once I had finally got it replaced I had completely forgotten what I had planned on doing. So, I plan on making this group more active with the help of those loyal enough to actually stay. I'm currently working on designing a WAD file for Doom 2 and the Zandronum engine; so expect to hear from me a lot.

Its been in development for a while, but it is very secretive. Cancelaltion rumours have been squashed as well. Google search "Doom 4 leaked images". May or may not be real

QuakeLive is great. And it has a massive following. Its like Quake 3 arena but smoother. Check it out. www.QuakeLive.com

3.5 inch disks... I don't think I ever had a use for them...

To everyone out there, what is the Quake live thing like? I've heard a lot about it but never seen it myself? Is it the original Quake played online or something? And how many people still play it (roughly of course)

Well i just bought the ID pack :) been awhile. I play Quake Live almost everyday. Will be fun to play the classics.

id Tech 6 is indeed in development. And as soon as I'm done saving up for my upgrade for RAGE, I'm starting to save up for id Tech 6. And it will be totally worth it because it always is.

Looks like John Carmack is blessing us with another engine I just hope the level designers and art modlers can do something with for Rage and Doom4

@[Gαмεŕ]WE_CV, no it has not. I'm a big id Software fanatic so therefore, I keep up with all of there updates and announcements about Doom 4. There really isn't a release date yet, but John Carmack did say that it will be released some time in 2011. Thank you.
