Is there a tutorial you used for the Sat Map or Mask images? Been toying around with a terrain in L3DT but unsure of how to create those. I imported the terrain from GIS but have screwed with it enough that it doesn't resemble the original heightmap at all.
I'm not really sure if there is an easy way. I just used the satellite image generated within L3DT and edited in photoshop to add forests and stuff to it.
If you watch a basic tutorial on how to generate a terrain within L3DT you could see how that works.
Maybe you could try to generate a texture map from the heightmap you imported and edited? Not really sure if that would really work, but I suppose it's worth a shot
What would it take to convince you to increase the size of this (see Chernarus, Napf, etc) add a few roads and get it feeling like the ft carson/ colorado springs area?
Cus this map is everything I've ever wanted minus an airfield
