MOUNTAINEEEERRRRS.

I played a 5 hour op on this map and 4 and a half hours of it was spent walking and climbing.

10/10 would torment myself again

i got to say, im subscribed to alot of maps on arma, but this map gives me some pretty good ideas. the snow on the mountains is the cherry on top with this map. you did excellent on this map.

To be honest this is my favorite map, besides it is small i have been using it a long time cause is perfect for infantry and other uses. Wish you can make it bigger as future project.

@Chapter Master Augustus if it has a missing requirement, it tells you exactly which addon is missing upon starting the game. If this isn't the case, the error must be something else

@Rylan We tried again recently and it would appear that the issue no longer exists. It never specified which DLC.

Great map! Is there any chance we can get a version where all of it is just snow with none of the greenery textures at the bottom? It would be really useful for a mission i am creating.

@ShiaLaBunion5 I no longer work on this terrain (At the moment at least). If I were to revisit it I would likely just rebuild everything from scratch rather than change what already exists here...

I think i am going to be revisiting this terrain as a side project. I won't edit this version directy, but I might upload a "mountain wilderness 2" in the future with addition dependencies but I will leave this one alone for compatibility's sake

yes, almost idenitcle environments, maybe a little more hilly and rougher terrain there, and the PNW is very very wet lol, i cant get my arma 3 tools to work, i would love to get it to work and work together with someone on a arma 3 map soon

That is definitely something I would love to do. I live in Montana so I could probably pull off that type of terrain with fairly good accuracy one I have mastered more aspects of terrain making

ok, No player has made a pacific northwest USA type map yet either, a american forest would be amazing to see as well, dense forests, small creeks and rivers, this hit close to home and i would LOOOOOVVVVE to see some more of your work

I personally don't plan on any middle eastern type terrains, but I can definitely see the potential there for some cool afghan wilderness areas. I my visit that idea when I have more time

There is no issue with the clutter for me, in the workshop version or the local testing version of the addon. What other addons do you have installed?

Yes i know, But i think its easier to just paste it in the description since i got all the texts for the different missions in a textfile ready to copy and paste from when i publish.

@GOTOPOST Cool! I am glad you like the map. I used this terrain mostly as a learning process for terrain building and there are certainly some things I plan on upgrading (Such as the satellite image/mask) but not too much. Is your mission on the workshop?

Just made a Coop mission on your great terrain! Been looking for a map like this for while now! Its perfect to make remake missions from games like "Ghost recon 2001" "Delta force 1 and 2" Hope you dont make to much changes to the map in future updates if you are planing to update this terrain.
