Different processes are not active when I am in another location
Extraction / Charging the batteries - it doesn't work when I am in another location.
Is that the plan?
Is there anything we can do about it?

You can keep places actives with Watchers while one the planet
But as soon as you leave the planet there is no way to keep a place active

This is a limitation of the game engine, and will never be able to be changed. Your current world is the only world that is loaded at any given time.

As Arpente says, if you are on-world, thats what Watchers are for.
