Old Frackin' Universe Save - do I need to start a new save?
Hi,

I installed FU mod a few years ago, completed the main plot and most FU blueprints. Then I put Starbound away, today I picked Starbound again and realized that FU mod has evolved greatly but I don't want to start from scratch again(when I install FU the first time I already had a new game). So my question is, do I have to start a new game again to enjoy everything the new FU mod offers, or I can continue with my old save and would be fine?

This is Frackin' Universe, not Frankin's Universe.

as for saves, not sure: That would depend on when you last played. Chances are, though, its fine. So long as the Research System still existed at that point in time, it should be safe.

My apologize....corrected it in the post
I think when I last played I didn't saw the Research System, the receipts are unlocked by the old way(collecting material to unlock).
