What to do if my colony is too big?
I made a colony of 110+ colonists, now my game has slowed to a snails pace.
My FPS is fine, but I guess there is so many scripts to process at one time, it makes most actions take ages, i.e. felling a tree takes about 10 seconds for it to actually fall, doors with player sensors take ages to close, etc.

Also, I am using a Watcher near the Colony Core, I am unsure if it is needed to generate rent from the Tier 2 deeds while far from the colony. It is most definitely contributing to the loss of process speed, but even when its not there, my game still moves at a snails pace

What are my options?
Downsizing? Naw homie, the lads need a home, I wont make them move out.
Stay off planet? I dont think you generate rent while off planet.
Slaughter the peasants with a massive lava pool? Definitely an option, will consider.

I'm at a loss because I built it near my main base (~400-500 blocks away from colony core) and i don't want to abandon it or the colony, it (the colony) took quite a few hours to build.

Any input is appreciated,

Don't really see how you can expect any reply other than "110 is too damned many"

Don't go overboard and you don't have this problem :)

Well honestly, I was hoping for some super secret function that turned the peasants into mindless drones that do nothing other than stand still and give me rent, but yea you are right, 110 is a bit overkill.

Quick question though, can rent be generated when you are off-world, and does a colony core need a watcher to generate rent if you are far from the core (but still on the same planet)?
