Interstellar Travel and BYOS quest help
Im doing the byos. New game, just talked to Esther and she says I need to repair my STL drive.

The STL drive in my ship is broken, and i'm not sure what to do with it, I haven't found any clear instructions as to what to do with the broken one. I'm very confused. There is no indication that you can physically repair the busted STL drive. So instead I just made a new one in the mechanics table. After I placed it where the busted STL drive was Im now able to travel around the solar system but I still have the quest from Esther telling me I need to repair the STL drive.

So now I don't know what to do. Was I supposed to actually repair the busted one? Or is the quest broken. Im not sure what i'm missing.

Esther at the outpost tells you, verbatim, how to do it and even hands you the materials needed to create one.

And all it should be is creating a new one, not repairing the old (as per her instructions.)

hmmm. I made a new one and the quest has not completed. I just fired the game up this mrning and now that im looking closer at it i see there is an orange colored bar down at the bottom of the quest that shows the quest is half complete, Its been a very long time since I have ve played starbound so I didn't understand or notice that bar.

I don't know if it can be changed or if you would even want to change it, but for this quest after you make the STL drive it would be a lot easier to understand if there was some sort of prompt that changes the quest saying that now that you have created the STL try it out by heading to the nearest moon, or something like that.

Sayter you are so patient, I appreciate how much you do for this mod and how much you put up with.
