Yeah, there's about 900 tutorials and I haven't played this game in several years. You saying that its the same way as vanilla is actually completely useless information to me, but now that I know ill google it! I'm quite impressed by how passively aggressive you are to every single comment and question in these discussions, its quite a talent! Thanks for the little bit of help you gave.

I imagine its because you have to answer the same questions all day, so I kinda get that. But still its not fair that you get to be passive aggressive and I cant be in my response to it ;D

I figure you've already found it out by now. You can obtain water by upgrading your Matter Manipulator to have the liquid collection add-on. This costs you 3 Manipulator Modules. Keep in mind that water on ocean planets is replaced with salt water, so that one doesn't count towards any crafting recipes that require normal water.
