Someone else had issues with FU buildings and it turned out they had platforms placed in the background - you can apparently do that when editing a microdungeon in Tiled but when the printer tries to place them in-game it just hangs, so that'd be my first instinct.

Can confirm that it is the platforms and I am in contact with members of the FU team about fixing the issue, great mod, keep it up ;)

The strange thing is that it spawned a few times correctly. I managed to spawn the medium scan on my ship (BYOS from FU) but again it seems that it was just a coincidence.

But enough of the whining, i have an idea to solve the problem. I tought about modifying the object file we can extract from the log file.

As far as I understand "layoutTableBackground" : {...} contains all the information of the background with "row" : {"column" : block }. And the corresponding blocks come from "blocksTable" : {...}.

The thing is, this is my "blocksTable" : {

Any further Ideas? Did I missed something if I want to replace the blocks?
Can you maybe tell me more about the "unancored" error? Does it come somewhere from the game or did you programmed it into your mod?

I am kind of eager to solve this problem, so as long you can throw ideas at me where to look I'm willing to search for a solution for that problem

It's probably the sand then - if the sand blocks aren't supported, the printer might get stuck in a loop of placing them, having them fall out of range and trying to place them again. Maybe.

Im having issues I dont know if its mod conflict, this or other main requierd mod, but when I do copy/print or print one of these the background blocks dont print.

Does the printer just not finish printing (all the glass blocks remain)?

sorry late reply the glass and printer vanish the only background blocks that get printed are the ones that have front block

Can you take a screenshot of the building you're trying to print (assuming the original is still standing somewhere)?

There is a limit on how big something can be before your computer gives up and stop loading it, it was an issue that I had too. I forgot I was subbed to this thread until it picked back up and I remember what happend. It could also be a concoction of mods adding containers and items that can't be coppied (Do to memory limitations), clear all lights, items and objects from the thing you are moving and it should work just fine.

This steps I tried remove all mods only this is modules in box only 2 mods, took all storage stuff out of folder so i started wiht a new character and univers, I then tryed base in box still no background blocks, so I added background blocks scaned it and printed and still no background blocks printed glass blocks did apear then disapear with the blueprint i placed on ground this is what I got,

It shouldn't really be able to print anything floating like that, try connecting the building to the ground and see if that helps. Also, if it abandons the print because it can't place any blocks there should be a noise and a message like "unanchored".

Ok im such a ♥♥♥♥♥ I found issue I was having and its kinda stupid, Its not a mod conflict or anything its cause im a cheater and useing a trainer that has option to instantly destroy blocks and when that option is on it destroys the background blocks sorry to waste your time
