How do I summon a mech a second time?
I summoned the cheapest Mech at the outpost, but I was unable to "unsommon" it. I am now unable to summon it again at different places, even though I still have the item in my inventory. The first one I used at the outpost is no longer there either.

What am I doing wrong? Thank you.

Same x 4.... Bought the 7k Mech, tested it out... okay cool... now just appear to have an expensive toy I can hold in my hand but not summon the mech itself....

If you summon a mech and don't collect it after, then leave the map, it become damaged. So you need to repair.
I do not recommend it for normal gameplay, this mech mod is fun for kidding, in normal gameplay it very very very overpowered and will onslaught bosses
