This is the Mech Vehicle Edition, to get modular mech parts you'll need other mods.

@ andrew.c.graham, To repair the mechs you use the vehicle repair robot at Penguin Pete's at the Outpost, or if you have a mod installed that allows you to buy your own personal vehicle repair robots you can use those instead.

This mod doesn't add mech part, it adds vehicles that are mechs. You are looking for another version of this mod that adds these mechs and their parts to the mech system.

how to get to astroids 1 go to star whith astroid 2 right click on the astroid belt and your ship will bring you there 3 deploy mech realy the nonmoded vanila mech.

To despawn your mech, click on it with the vehicle controller in hand. A white outline should be visible for it to work.

How do you despawn your mech? Putting the controller away doesn't seem to do it.

Ehh... hearing how people had problem with this mod, that the game breaks completely... has that issue been fixed? That's the only thing puting me off from using this mod.

theres a bit of a problem, mechs have a tendency to climb up single blocks really slowly

please make the human sized mech suit easier to get love mechs but cant get through doors without breaking my legs

Is this mod frackin universe compatible? And can it be installed mid playthrough as long as you haven't done the Florian hunting grounds quest?

When you complete the hunting grounds story mission, you'll get a small quest from Penguin Pete, which will let you teleport to ZZ's ship, which has a table that will let you colour most mechs with the armour plates

Note to everyone who has this mod: if you spawn a mech and then leave the planet before you despawn it, the mech will despawn from the planet and will NOT be recoverable. This will also render the mech controller useless. Make sure to despawn the mech anytime you want to teleport somewhere if you don't want to lose pixels.

the pirated rho mechs grabby beam is hilarious cuz u can just pick up and yeet npcs who r supposed to be stationary, or just yeet npcs in general

Very cool mod, just needs smoother walking animation and less annoying robot sounds like every 2 steps taken. other than that very cool mod 4 of 5 stars.

i had some fun with the R-03 rho mech, i was thinking of fighting the erchius horror while in the rho mech, i thrown the horror away from its main position with its grapple and used the secondary attack for nearly the whole fight while it wobbled around, i did have to use the switchs to speed up the fight but it was pretty damn fun






and yes i used FU to actually damage it without the turret thingy
