Just a suggestion here: You could as well safe the .ini that you've made to make it cosmetical only to somewhere else and then always move it back into that folder.
Not saying that the modder shouldn't consider your suggestion, but just a suggestion towards you if he doesn't do it or until he does it.

I already did that but the last 2 under dates added changes that where not covers by my .ini and I had to start over again. At this point I have basically given up and just use the normal swords. I just don't have the time to do a .ini edit every time I want to play:(

agree, the only reason i dont use this mod is because it is own weapon, i would love to have it as a cosmetic option

Yes, or at least a separate weapon with the same stats as the default sword. So that you can choose which look you want to use but it won't have any affect on the gameplay.

I too would love a cosmetic version! All tiers would be nice, but I could live with just the starter sword for now!
