Beghins and his team have been trying to fix this ui bug for ages now,it has cropped up before in many versions for a select few people, and with the next patch it disappears for those people. However then it is a problem for someone else. The only thing I can suggest you do is unsub, delete the mod file then resub.

We were able to play the mod, but only when we selected the Haidan and the Vaigan or how they are spelled. I guess it has something to do with a specific race.

I myself have never personally experienced the UI bug. However I know of at least one person from The Mothership that has experienced that issue, if I remember correctly it was solved by a fresh reinstall of the mod. Try it.
