Had a weird bug that almost broke my game.

So playing the valhalla? GC (the single planets start) as the CIS I started having a time freeze, the game wouldn't advance time, and by pure luck I found the problem.

I had Ventress hanging out at Crime Lord controlled Loronar and having a save about one-two minutes before the freeze at day 2 cycle 131 after a couple reloads I noticed that the Republic Remanent attacked right at the freeze and sent a fleet holding the choke point south of the planet and took the orbital and then invaded.

The invasion was against one Empire AT-AT super heavy tank regiment and it forced dropped two vulture regiments at the western and northern cap points and the AT-ATs were already at the north cap point, killing my droids at map load.

Loronar was controlled by the Empire, then maybe (I think I saw the planet red) the Republic, then the Crime Lords, and then the Republic tried to invade again, freezing the game.

I don't know enough about the game to have much of an idea on how it happened, or if i added to much info.


Found the save I was using, can try and get it to you if you ask.

While I'm here, the Recusant-2/Felucia-class capital ship' vulture fighters keeps spawning in at the center of the map and not by the ship.

That time freeze bug is carried over from base Remake, and you're not the only one it's happened to. The creator of CWH is getting ready to deploy a patch that will fix at least one source of those time freezes, and I myself have incorporated it into my own upcoming update.

Unfortunately I'm at a loss with the Felucia-class' spawning bugs. I tried to fix it multiple times and I kinda just gave up.

Just happy I forgot about Ventress.
Local mining company no longer appears on the build bar for high mineral planets. If it's already there at game start (such as commedor) it functions normally and can be upgraded, just can't build new ones. Which, that's kind of important for funding the war effort, unless you're a Hut in which case you have other options.

This is intentional. The old economic structures and their scripts were very janky and just didn't feel fun to interact with, so instead you have mining facilities like in vanilla EAW. The Crime Lords also don't get mining facilities as they have their own unique economy.

That's possibly a vanilla Remake bug. There's lots of issues associated with its ground maps in general, specifically with third-party neutral unit spawns. I recommend just autoresolving those planets' ground forces out of existence, or eating the defeat if they're your planets.

I don't seem to be able to build base structures in Sectors, just mines and the maglev is this intentional?

That's definitely weird. I know I made a mechanic where the Rebels can't fully colonize sectors since they're underdog resistance fighters, but just in case, I'll look into this for the other factions once I return to modding this game.
