逃离鸭科夫联机mod Alpha v1.4.1先遣测试版
ENGLISH SETUP (Extra Detailed)
I am not affiliated with the mod creator or the developers of the game in any way. I was able to get this working and would like to make it as pain free as possible for others to get a co-op game going.

I used the guide located in this steam community post as a starting point but wanted to reorganize the information in a step by step way. Thank you to the author of that post for the initial translation/explanation or I wouldn't have been able to deep dive into the setup.

ENGLISH SETUP (Extra Detailed)
>Way easier than it looks, don't be intimidated, I just write a lot for no reason.
>Once you set up everything it is infinitely faster to connect for subsequent session.

Before you continue please read this important message:
Step 1 of this process requires all players to download, install, and use RAdmin (or another similar program).
Many of you will be using it already or familiar with it but for those who are not:
RAdmin is free software that connects people together simulating a local area network. It is used by a number of large and small games, especially ones with mod communities, since many of these types of games require being on (or simulating being on) a local area network.

That being said the real disclaimer isn't about RAdmin, which is simply a tool...
Rule of thumb is if you wouldn't give a person your home WiFi password, then you probably shouldn't connect to them via RAdmin.
There are multiple layers of security in your OS surely but it is still much easier to find flaws and exploits when you are on the same local area network.
-----

As of Oct 25, 2025 the official site for downloading RAdmin is https://www.radmin-vpn.com/
If you are reading this in the future... please ensure the above link is still legit - do your due diligence!

-----

PART 1 OF 4 (connecting to each other with RAdmin):

Step 1 (all people): Download RAdmin (see above or search for it online)
Step 2 (all people): Install RAdmin (your usual/typical install wizard)
Step 3 (all people): Open/Launch RAdmin

Who should host?
Two players? The person with better internet and better computer.
Three or more players? The person with the best geographic location (equidistant to others).
E.G. = If Player 1 is Los Angeles. If Player 2 is New York. If Player 3 is Chicago. Then the Chicago player should host (in between the other two).

Step 4 (STEP 4A, 4B, and 4C ARE FOR THE HOST ONLY):
Step 4A) Launching RAdmin should open a small UI window and auto connect. If it did not auto connect, please click the big ON button and wait for it to say "Online."
Step 4B) Once a connection is established you will see the option to "Create Network" or "Join Network." The person who is HOSTING will select "Create Network."
Step 4C) You will be asked to create a Network Name and assign a Password. You will be sharing both the network name and password you have chosen with your co-op partner(s) so no social security numbers. Verify the password, as usual, then click "Create" to start up the virtual local area network.

Step 5 (STEP 5A, 5B, 5C, and 5D IS FOR THE PERSON NOT HOSTING ONLY):
Step 5A) Launching RAdmin should open a small UI window and auto connect. If it did not auto connect, please click the big ON button and wait for it to say "Online."
Step 5B) Once a connection is established you will see the option to "Create Network" or "Join Network."
Step 5C) You, and other non-hosts, will wait for HOST (the other person) to give you a Network Name and Password. These will be case sensitive.
Step 5D) Select "Join Network" and enter the Network Name and Password (which are case sensitive).
Step 5E) Select "Connect"

PART 1 OF 4 COMPLETE (YOU ARE CONNECTED TO A VIRTUAL LOCAL AREA NETWORK)
-----
PART 2 of 4 (Save File Setup):
All players must do this.

  • You CAN start with an existing save however results may vary.
  • Skip this section if starting with an existing save (you must be past the tutorial at least and IN THE BUNKER!).
  • If using an existing save: backup your save file just in case it gets corrupted!

To create a fresh save file for co-op:
1. Launch game.
2. Unload ALL mods (every single one including co-op mods).
3. Start game in a new save slot.
4. Select your difficulty (think Host determines, but to avoid problems select the same difficulty as your homies).
5. Complete the tutorial section.
6. ARRIVE IN THE BUNKER/TALK TO JEFF IN THE BUNKER. You don't have to talk to Jeff but he is a nice guy.

7. Hit Esc > Settings > Keybindings > UNBIND PHOTO MODE (or bind it to any keys other than: "P" or "J")
**IMPORTANT**
Photo mode breaks co-op (default is P) AND THE MOD ALSO USES P AND J for it's GUI functions, so we must ensure P and J are not bound in the game for anything, especially not photo mode lol.

8. Save and exit.

Your fresh save file is now prepped for co-op!

-----

PART 3 OF 4 (Mod Install/Game Setup):
1. Uninstall, or at least unload, all other mods. After setup you can try to turn them on and see what works.
2. Library > Escape from Duckov > "Workshop" tab > Subscribe to Co-Op Mod AND all pre-requisites.
3. Wait for Escape from Duckov to refresh/redownload the mods (probably already happened by the time you read this, just continue).
4. Library > Right click "Escape from Duckov" > Properties > Workshop > Deselect all other mods, then order the 4 used for co-op like this:

>1. HarmonyLib
>2. LiteNetLib
>3. ConsoleMod (has picture of a Console screen)
>4. Co-Op mod (at time of writing named Alpha 1.x.x)
Ensure the above are selected and active and IN THIS ORDER!

5. Start the game.

6. On main menu select "Mods"
7. Unselect all mods.
8. Re-order mods so that first four mods are in this order:

>1. HarmonyLib
>2. LiteNetLib
>3. ConsoleMod (has picture of a Console screen)
>4. Co-Op mod (at time of writing named Alpha 1.x.x)

9. Check mark select the mods and activate them one at a time in order (1 > 2 > 3 > 4).

10. Back and EXIT THE GAME.
11. Re-launch game.

Co-op mods are now set up.

-----

PART 4 OF 4 (Mod Usage):

1. Select your prepped save file (highly recommended) or existing save file (make a backup... and you must be in the bunker!).
2. Launch the file.
3. When you are in the bunker:

The mod may have an English translation by the time I post this.
If not, here is a description of the user interface:
--------
TOP BUTTON

I.P. Address # input field
Port # input field

MIDDLE BUTTON

BOTTOM BUTTON (WITH CHECKMARK BOX)
---------

If you are HOST/SERVER:
1. HIT THE TOP BUTTON. That's it. You are in SERVER MODE.
You may hit "P" to toggle a small screen showing a list of who is connected.

If you are all other players:
1. Copy and paste the IP Address of your RAdmin Server into the IP address field (not your IP... insert your SERVERS IP from RAdmin!!)
2. The port field will remain untouched (default is 9xxxx something, leave it be).
3. Make sure the host has clicked their server button on their end before you go to next step.
4. Click the MIDDLE BUTTON (located directly below the PORT input field) to connect.

FINAL IMPORTANT STEP:
1. To exit/enter any area all players must go to the exit and select it (or stand in evac zone) (P.S. dead players don't need to do this).
2. ONCE ALL PLAYERS DO THIS A VOTING POPUP BOX APPEARS ---> Hit "J" to accept the vote. When all (or most?) players do you will all port together.

Style broke down at the end so I could just get this out.
I'll update it later to look pretty. Best of duck.
