PLEASE CHECK WORKSHOP CONTENT
Hi there, I see that my mod actually doesn't work for peoples so I decided to open this discussion to maybe check what problem is.

To all users that this mod isn't working - please go to workshop folder path where you have Steam on which has Riftbreaker installed on for depending on which disc you installed it on:

MY EXAMPLE IS:

E:\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\780310\3502063340

Check if there is .rar or .zip file depending on what application u use to open such files and check actually there is file named something like this:

{0914BAE8-87DA-4714-9AAC-2559016AEE91}.rar or .zip

then OPEN THIS FILE with WinRaR or 7zip application and check if you find inside this packaged files a path described below:

entities\items\interactive

And check if inside interactive folder you can find file named:

scanner.ent

IF THERE IS NO FILE NAMED scanner.ent INSIDE, please try resubscribing and check again.

I need feedback on this so please help ;)

i just looked, in my Zip the scanner.ent is there

I figured that even though I don't have the DLC (we aren't sure if this even matters anymore), I should say that I followed that file path and indeed have the scanner.ent file. I can see you changed scanning_time to be 0.001.

It's strange that it works for you but not for others. Computers are weird..... It'll be annoying if it turns out the 2.0 beta is bugged and just doesn't apply mods for some reason.

Yes I use same numeration 0.001 that is the same number as scanner cooldown. I will be tweaking this number to be instead of 0.001 to 0.01 and if this is not working then 0.1 maybe

Changed it - maybe works maybe not - also I have another idea if it is not working

ALSO please try it on survival since scanner is enabled there from the start.

Thank you for feedback, good to know. Can you try it out in Campaign? you can run console command to research all tech and that way you will have enabled scanner.

I tested it in campaign. It is working for me now. It appears the issue is you cannot add the mod mid-game, you must start a new game. Sweet, we found the problem. Btw, I don't have any of the DLC so you get can rid of the "requires all 3 DLC" thing. I'll leave a comment on the actual mod page too so people know

Thanks for feedback, I thought peoples knew you need NEW START for mods to work. Probably need to include this in description on main page.

I am going to actually delete requirements of DLCs since it is obsolete.
