If you highlight map elements (I don't know the keybinding on PS5, sorry) it should appear as a yellow square on the floor, it will be enough to send a PC to walk on that and it shall reveal an hidden door. Behind that, there are more pressure plate shenanigans :)
For real? That must be painful, many custom campaigns rely on highlightable elements...
Let me see what you'll find next:
- pressure plates are only used in the tomb (check the "two thrones" area) and to activate in-map stairs, but these are easily visible
- there will be one fight almost at the end of the campaign that requires you to find 3 pressure plates. That will be harsh, let me know if you need a walkthrough once you are there
- most of the loot will be found in "virtual" chests, which look like normal props but they are interactable. That shouldn't be a problem since chests appear on the map
- sometimes you'll find "door" exits even where you don't expect to, e.g. to board a wagon or to enter a magic circle. These appear on the map too
- probably, the hardest interactions to find will be virtual dialogues, which are just like standard dialogues but they are triggered by interacting with world objects. Afaik, they do not appear on the map. If something seems out of place (like a stele in front of a door) or particularly important there's probably an interaction on it. If you feel stumped, let me know
About the part you are stuck in... Guess what? Virtual dialogues
You should go back to the room where you found the friendly spiderling. Along the same Wall, down in the "unfinished" part of the room, you should see a bunch of rocks with a green glow just near the far corner. One of these is interactable and should trigger a way to save the day.
Since you are there, you may find another similar issue in the "the other heist..." Quest (you may not find it, optional). In that case, there is an interactable desk in the upper stairs room guarded by automatons.
Following that, you'll find a similar locked exit in the "mountain caves" hidden as a pile of snow, and in the "hidden library", you should check all the blue pedestals, they are quite evident
I'll add more in case, I think I'll need to write down a small guide with pics for you guys, once I find the time...
Another problem I just encountered at level 10 area. I got to 2nd floor of dragon spear and went to offices but the monsters from the next room triggered and the gallivan joined the fight also. This must be a bug. 2nd time I killed the gallivan 1st and then the offices fight was normal without kobolds.
Hey. The sailor on the hammersail should be fixed in the latest version, but I don't remember if I pushed it live already.
About the second point: you mean that initiating the fight against the "lights and shadows" triggered other encounters? This is strange and shouldn't obviously happen, I'll check asap
Thank you for your time
Heya, just fyi I tried to put up a small guide with the most criticala hidden interactions: https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3476405277
It should help
Hi yes, I was playing 1.11 and now put in 1.12 version. Yes I was surprised during light and shadow fight when a big red creature came in the middle! I was able to reload and get through correctly. Thanks for quick response.
All dialogues with vael'goroth lead to the pit and even when I open the doors more and more enemies keep coming. I ran my thief to another door but there were just more enemies. I thought it might be like the 1st Nezbal encounter. I can't beat all the enemies so how do I escape this?
I am level 13. Is that too low?
After your answer I realized I was triggering the fight outside the door before finishing the pit fight and having all the creatures at once. That was why I couldn't win. I was able to do the fights one at a time and progress. I am now level 15. I did find it a bit tough to do 4 fights in a row with no campfire but I managed.
Anyway thanks again for all of your maps. It has really helped extend the life of Solasta for me. Excited for Solata 2?
