This is a guide for the custom campaign "The Purple Wolf", aimed to help players find the critical interactive elements hidden inside various maps. Mostly useful for those who cannot use the highlight functionality

About this guide
The Purple Wolf is a campaign filled with many different interactive elements that blend in the environments.
Many of these interactions will provide a small snippet of lore, or a piece of loot - but some of them will be critical to the advancement of the campaign instead, and not being able to find them will halt player progression.

This guide is aimed to "unlock" stuck players by providing spoiler-free information about the main interactive elements that do not appear on the minimap (for example, dialogue or skill rolls).

Use the sidebar to look for the area where you are blocked
Tomb of Thalorel (The Cleansing)
In this area there are several interactive elements:

  • just after the fight against the ogre, you can find a pressure plate on the floor (if you can't, the button has the same function)


  • in the area called "the thrones", there are four pressure plates to be activated together, two in front of each throne



  • in the area called "the four pillars", the interactive elements are the statues (I won't tell you which is the right one, sorry)
Haldin Residence (The other... heist of Credenhill)
Only one critical interaction item for this quest: a desk inside a guarded upstairs room

Temple of Einar (Kill ten spiders)
Two relevant interactions in the temple, the first in the main level, where you can find the body of the prior with a key:


The other is in the crypt, look for green glow:
Credenhill sewers (Rebels questline)
In order to complete the questline and gain access to the High Tower, you need to interact with 2 altars in the closed-off section of the sewers. Here is one, they both look the same:
Mountain Caves (on the road to the Hidden Library)
In order to leave the caves, you need to interact with the boxes in front of a heap of snow:
The Hidden Library of Pakri
You will find several blue pedestals through the map. All of them have something interesting, the one in the screenshot is critical to open doors to the next level:
The School (War for a School)
Some enemies will be waiting for you in the inner courtyard, finding a way to open these doors is critical.
Lucky you, there is a button in the Main Hall, on the right wall:
The Golemizer's Lab (the Golemizer questline)
The area outside the laboratory must be scoured to find 3 different buttons hidden on mundane objects inside and around the hut. Here is one:


Once inside the lab, the main scene will ask you to interact with "alchemical equipment", which is on the desk depicted in the screenshot:
Astral - Purulent Abscess (the Atheus investigation questline)
To complete the investigation, you need to find clues on the murder scene (check the corpse) and in the closed temple. There are 3 interactive elements in the temple, one just gives you loot, the others are critical for the quest:
Astral - The Last Drop
Eriell the Wanderer loves to hide. To find her, look for a snowflake banner:

Dragonspear Fortress (Escape from Nezbal's fortress)
The first of your tasks in the underground part of the fortress will be to reunite with your good friend.
She's locked inside a prison cell, the door can be opened through a mechanism you can find in the nearby guard post:




One of the keys you need to find to escape the fortress is hidden inside a box.
First, you need to find a clue on a reading desk:


Then, the box is on a pedestal in the "offices":


Lastly, when you have all the keys, you'll need to interact with an element besides the main doors to trigger the opening sequence
The House of Mirrors
This area is chock-full of interactions! Luckily, they are all managed through blue pedestals, in both versions of the house:

All the blue pedestals you find in here do something relevant, check them all
Clockwork - The Iron Archives (The Black Grimoire)
The portal for the Plane of Clockwork from Port Buttercup isn't the easiest to find.
There is a small wooden hut just next to a small pond, near to the location of Sage Yasemi.
Is it a outhouse? Someone's idea of a prank is to place a portal in its doorway...


The Iron Archives themselves are neat and orderly, but there are two main interactions you should look for.
First, there is a certain someone that still loves to hide behind snowflake-bearing banners:


Then, your goal is on a blue pedestal in the center room:
Tartarus - Vaelshadow
Ah, Vaelshadow. What a quaint village (not).

To reach it from Port Buttercup, you should look for a stone tower just behind Sage Yasemi. The door is the portal.

If, once you are there, you wish to enter the fortress, you should interact with the stele in front of the main doors:


If you are not fond of dealing with door-demons, there is another, less pleasant entrance just outside the walls (you can use it only after you've interacted with the door, anyways):

Once you are inside, you may have to go through the dungeons below the fortress. One specific fight will require you to find 3 pressure plates and stand on them all or... well, die.
This is probably the hardest interaction to find, given you are pressured. Here they are (order is not important)...

Lastly, still in the dungeons, you may need a key from the mangled corpse of the guardian:
Pools of color
You will find 2 pools of color in your travels: in Valeshadow and in Solasta.
In both cases, you should interact with the standing stone in front of them first, then a door-like exit will open on the side:
