I'm currently working on texturing thoes mushy areas bit-by-bit. :)
Probably updating the map tomorrow since i allready got some more areas painted.
I'm afraid the Essence Editor does not have any tools for optimizing as far as I know, but I will look into it anyway to see what can be done.
I suspected this might be a problem for some users due to the map size, it is pretty much as big as you can make it.
I haven't had any lag when using standard game settings (100 popcap, no mods) but i'm intrested to know what others experience, so may I ask what your spec's are and if you used any mods?
Move the bases range closer to the middle by 100. That should create a faster start without having to resize anything for testing.
While I like the man-power points in the middle, it was very easy to cap them and place a medical bunker / retreat point. Maybe change them to low-ammo or fuel. Good work.

Very good map, but the building in the spawn zone of one of the base on the right is a little disadvantage to build in the limit of the zone because the engineers have to go around it before reach the construction zone
