Should the Military "Ascension" Techs be in a separate mod?
The only reason they exist in the first place is because my mind wandered to Timbuktu and back while I was putting together NCR's release-version.

Aside from how NCR's core features and these Ascension techs both aim to increase the level of RP in a campaign, they don't interact with each other or bare any similarity though. Being as lazy as I often am, I'll leave everything within NCR by default. The only things that'd push me to separate them out would be:

1) I got stuck into the Ascension side of things and fleshed it out enough that it would have to become its own thing.

2) Your feedback. The clue is in the name with this one, NCR is only intended to rebalance naval capacity. If you're less-than-impressed with all this extra "Ascension" garbage being tacked on please let me know?

I think that philosophically I prefer mods that aren't explicit large scale overhauls to touch as few things as possible and think that the military ascension techs should probably be their own thing

I think putting them as their own thing would be good, might also allow for players to use them without NCR?

Thanks for the feedback y'all. Out of the (whopping, huge, never before seen amount!!) 3 people that've commented on it there's complete unanimity in favour of putting the Ascension stuff in it's own place.

Will make that a reality when I push the next update out unless there's a massive swing before then

Gonna chime in in agreement with the other guys, while the additional features are interesting, this would probably be better served as a focused, lightweight as can be mod

Late-game fleet ascension techs disabled - code left in and just commented out in case I or anyone else feels inclined to re-introduce them or fork them off into their own mod
